Dangerous Cults

This presentation will examine the long history and future of dangerous cults in our society. It will examine past high-profile cult cases that have pushed the cults into the media frenzy. It will discuss how cults operate, recruit, and control their memberships. It will examine some of the apocalyptic cults and what we can learn from their activities and behaviors. It will look at psychology of the cult stigma, and how individuals are groomed, programmed and if able to leave; deprogrammed. This course is very graphic by nature.
