Date Rape Drugs

This presentation will cover the topic of rape, acquaintance rape, and drug facilitated rape. It will examine the scope of the problem and the perceived stigma behind rape. It will examine the characteristics of past offenders and how these offenders facilitate rape with the aid of legal and illegal drugs. It will discuss the psychological and physiological effects of date rape drug drugs. It will provide information on interviewing witnesses and analyzing suspect statements. It will cover the processing of the crime scene along with the procedural issues of evidence collection from the victim. Lastly, it will provide information on how to reduce the risk of date rape and what to do if you think you have been drugged.
