Extremist and Radical Groups

This course will examine the numerous single issue and multi issue left-wing and right-wing radical groups that are present in our society. It will discuss the lone wolf philosophy and tactics as well as the organized riots and protests that these groups engage in. It will examine intelligence gathering on these groups and strategical assessments of their capabilities. It will discuss the groups history, membership and movement philosophies. It will explain the progression from well-intentioned cause to radical terrorism. It will discuss prior actions and incidents that have been committed by individuals within these groups.
