This training will examine the many aspects of involvement with the Hate Movement in the United States. It will discuss how youths are recruited, and the motivations used by recruiters, including the use of alcohol, drugs and the promise of a better tomorrow. It will discuss the history and evolution of the major groups, and how they continue to attract our youth. The participants will gain valuable knowledge on how to recognize and identify the potential danger signs of involvement. Participants will also be able to identify the many tattoos, signs and symbols that are used by hate group members. This training will also examine hate related graffiti and the messages in Skinhead music. Lastly it will look at the response to hate in the community and ways to promote a healthy cultural environment.
