Para-military drug cartel membership is on the rise and their influences are already impacting United States Law Enforcement, Corrections, and Probation. These cartels are high organized, sophisticated, and better equipped than many of our Police Departments. Their sphere of influence impacts over 4000 cities in the United States including many Pennsylvania cities. They are always actively recruiting new members to distribute their drugs and procure weapons. They have corrupted officials and intimidated our court system in various locations. This course will take an in-depth look into the history, violence and modus operandi of these cartels on American soil.
