Officer Safety / Officer Survival
This course is designed to provide Probation Officers with information on the vast variety of weapons that are available to criminals in our society. It will take a detailed look into types of firearms, knives, improvised weapons, and hidden threats that can be used to assault or possibly kill Law Enforcement Officers. This course will also provide information critical to Officer Survival. It will discuss the Physical, Psychological, and Emotional techniques and strategies to winning lethal confrontations. It is imperative that we learn and adapt to their new tricks and techniques that endanger the Law Enforcement Officers across the Country.
